Richard Reardon

RICHARD REARDON  is a Chicago-based playwright/novelist. He is a member of Three Brothers Theater playwright residency program. His work is featured on the MonologueBank site. He was recently awarded a residency at the Ragdale Foundation and had his plays “Translations” and “Saturn’s Return” included in the Writer’s Bloc Table Reading Series and Theater Festival. “Down the Rabbit-Hole” was included in the Fresh Scripts series at Three Brothers Theater in March of 2020. He holds an MFA in Creative Writing from The Vermont College of Fine Arts, a Masters in English Literature from Northeastern Illinois University, and a BFA in Musical Theatre from the Cincinnati College Conservatory of Music. Prior to writing, Richard was a professional actor appearing in productions at the Goodman Theatre, Auditorium Theatre, Marriott Lincolnshire Theatre, and the Kennedy Center. He was a cast member in Midwest premiers of BabyForbidden BroadwayMarch of the Falsettos, and for nearly a decade in the Broadway touring company of The Phantom of the Opera.
